differentiation ruling the nation

i think it'd be accurate to say that not enough people give this album the credit it deserves:

although 'The Warning' is quite obviously Hot Chip's masterpiece it's a shame people forget about it's predecessor. It's all killer with no filler, every track is either heart breaking or 'booty shaking', Alexis and Joe's vocals are subtle and soulful even on the clearly tongue in cheek 'Playboy'. It's also influenced my taste in music so much, which is only evident to me looking back now. This record does everything a great record should, plain and simple.
